What was your highlight?

Thought we'd look back now that we've been back!  What was a special, fun, revealing, surprising, ????, memory that you have about our trip?  What stands out? And what has God been putting in your heart since you've been back?  Please Blog it and encourage others with your thoughts!
Love, Emily

Emily posting for Karen

My favorite memory is still the smiles and hugs I received from so many children! That is what I will keep in my heart forever. Some other fun memories include the "boys" who followed the guitar player at Moyo singing Wimawei (sp). I laugh every time I think of it...and when the cape buffalo started coming after us due to the mating call, which we cannot mention! I look forward to finding out what other memories you cherish. Love and Blessings, Karen

There were so many. I loved my traveling companions...they were the best! It was great getting to know Blommie, a woman of great faith and love for the Lord, her servant heart and great laugh! I also really enjoyed meeting the rest of the MCM staff and all the interns.
My heart was really moved by the little time I was able to spend in the HIV/TB hospital with the women and children. I would love to spend more time there. The children from the holiday clubs were so loving, joyful and thankful for our little gestures of kindness.
I could pretty much just go on and share every single experience in South Africa as my "highlight". But my absolute favorite was spending time with Laura. She is such a great friend, a woman who lives with a rock solid faith in the Lord and passion for life.

My favorite time was all the laughter! I know I've said it before, but you guys filled my cup to over flowing! I think I'll definitely be in need of a reunion when I get home in November! Just watching you all (secretly spying) blessed me to see you all interact and support one another. You all were made for the mission field. I think praying on top of Paarl rock was also a high light for me. So free, so big, so right.

I loved being with the MCM team, especially the ones I've met before! I loved seeing how far God has brought MCM-the discipleship groups, the foodcenter, the intern program, the grapes, the water...I loved our team who had such a heart to serve! You all blessed me! But my biggest joy came with seeing Laura. I could have stayed longer just to be with her! I think Laura is in her natural habitat! God is blessing, growing and making her glow!
